Why we do not need solar panels.

We do not need solar panels and energy storage systems in the form of chemical batteries, because on the earth there are already exist perfect systems for collecting and storing solar energy: these are the TREES!

The production of solar panels, exploatation and recycling is a very energy intensive process. The amount of energy spent on this is comparable to the amount of energy generated during the whole life cycle of the panels.

Currently, the production of solar panels involves the use of toxic elements and their compounds, which requires sophisticated filtering and purification technologies for industrial emissions. Most modern panels have olny 20% efficiency. Now, most of the industries in this area are located in China and developing countries, where modern environmental standards are not always respected. The same goes for batteries. Manufacturing and processing requires a lot of energy and is poorly established worldwide.

At the same time, trees do not require complicate and dirty production and recycling processes. They grow with minimal care. At the same time, they purify and enrich the environment. They filter the air, absorb carbon dioxide CO2 (which overconcentrating the main reazon of the greenhouse effect) and produce the oxygen we breathe, nourish and structure the soil. And most importantly, trees efficiently convert and accumulate solar energy in their biomass, which is a universal source of energy alongside oil and gas. The energy of trees and other plants can be obtained by anaerobic fermentation of biomass in biogas reactors to produce methane (CH4) or by burning wood with oxygen(O2) deficiency and producing combustible gas (pyrolysis). Trees are also a source of food and building materials for animals and humans.

On our planet, we have huge desert territories that can be planted with forest gardens, using modern agroforestry technologies.

Agroforestry is an integral approach to take advantage of the combination of shrubs and trees with plants and/or livestock. This approach combines agricultural and forestry technologies to create more diverse, profitable, profitable, productive and sustainable land use systems.

It will help overcome not only the world’s energy, environmental and food crisis, but also improve the climate of the earth as a whole. Trees are capable of storing large amounts of water in their bodies and in the surrounding air. It will solve the problem of melting polar ice and the associated rising level of the sea. At the same time, humid air has a higher thermal conductivity, which will contribute to a more uniform temperature distribution on the planet. There will be more places on the planet for a comfortable staying for the people. In warm regions it will cool and the deficiency of fresh water will disappear. In colder regions it will become warmer.

The development of agroforestry will create jobs outside megacities, which will stimulate the exit of people from the cities, the development of peripheral infrastructure and the general development of the territories. Working with trees will allow people to be closer to the Earth and will make you feel the lost connection with the nature. Humanity will aware about the interconnection of natural processes on a global scale. Our planet is a perfect spaceship with automatic life support systems and self-healing. We must not destroy it, but maintain and improve it. It makes no sense to spend huge resources on the exploration of the Moon and Mars until we restore order in our land. Otherwise, we cannot survive.

The agroforestry is one of the most important components of a sustainable and prosperous future for all mankind.
